disColor, photo exhibit

oohyeah! it was a success! our (mine, abbey's, abi's, and justin's) exhibit was fun and successful! but only a few of you guys went and supported us. aww. but anyways, it was fun really. i was really hoping that you guys would be going. but, by the words of macbeth, "what's done is done". anyway, hope we could invite you again for our next exhibit! (if we are having any exhibit again, hahaha!)

disColor

we had our exhibit today!

yeah! i could say, it was a success! every guest somehow enjoyed and appreciated our photos. by the way, our class is a Basic Black and white photography class, so obviously we exhibited Black and white photos. it was actually fun shooting, developing, printing and enlarging those photos during the semester. thus, our sem ended up with a bang! yeah! haha!

our exhibit was entitled "disColor". well, that was our theme. haha! from a combination of the words disco and color (since we had a disco ball and disco sounds, and the place was really full of color), we formed disColor (which is similar to discoloration since our photos are black and white, obviously no colors involved). it was quite fun planning and holding your own event. but yes, of course it was really tiring and made everyone so haggard that some of us (or one of me, haha) wanted to just ditch the exhibit! but i won't do that! i love our class so much (and it is graded after all >__<).

we felt like stars tonight! haha! even our professor. we all experienced a taste of showbiz! well, it was because people were enjoying taking our pictures. haha! no kidding, we (the artists, if i could say so myself) were in one corner taking pictures (wacky ones) of our own then the guests just piled up in front of us and took us pictures! haha! i'd say, that was quite tiring, smiling for a long while and not knowing which camera to look at. haha!

the exhibit was really a fun-filled experience. but, things come and go. so eventually we had to say goodbye, pack things up and leave. we certainly left a mark (literally and symbolically). >___<

well anyway, at least i got to go home with a recognition! haha! by winning (or rather, tieing with a classmate in) 2nd place in the People's choice award for the best three photos. :D

i guess, my photography class will be the most unforgettable class i had during my 2 years (so far) of stay in college. :D
